Fortalecimiento de SG-CSUCA, to promote storage and use of scientific and satellite information for sustainable development C.A.

With the support of the Swiss Cooperation for Development COSUDE, the SG-CSUCA, executes the project: Strengthening of SG-CSUCA, to promote storage and use of scientific and satellite information for sustainable development CA For which COSUDE contributes a fund of USD$ 250,000.00.

The project contemplates two results:

EFFECT 1: Strengthen the technological capacity of the CSUCA to offer a better information and research service to the 24 member universities and the general public, through the virtual connection of the member libraries of the Central American Integrated Information and Documentation System SIIDCA).

EFFECT 2: Support Central American researchers and teachers with improved skills to interpret and use geospatial information from satellites and other existing technological tools, strengthening their academic function and improving the quality of education in the region.
